Olivia Dix
Olivia Dix is Head of the Palliative Care Initiative, working in seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa , of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. She was previously Head of Policy at the Fund, in which capacity she developed the UK and International funding programmes, including the partnership with Landmine Action. Earlier positions in a 30 year career in the voluntary and public sectors have included CEO of a National Cancer Information Organization and of a University Settlement in the East End of London. She has a 1st Class BA and Masters in History.
Olivia Dix was appointed to the Landmine Action Board 22 December 2005.
Malcolm Harper
Malcolm Harper worked in South Africa as a lay Personal Assistant for Archbishop Joost de Blank of Cape Town for a year before joining the staff of OXFAM in 1963. He worked in East and West Africa and in Cambodia and became Director of Communications for 6 years before moving to become Director of the United Nations Association (UK) for 23 years. He is a Fellow of International Students House and a trustee of Afghanaid, Charlbury Cricket Club, Commonwealth Society for the Deaf, Friends of Northern Uganda, International Broadcasting Trust and International Service.
He was appointed to the Board of Action on Armed Violence on 25th April, 2000.
Anna Macdonald
Anna Macdonald has over 17 years experience in the voluntary sector. She currently heads up Oxfam's work on arms control and divides her time between London and New York. She played an active role in the campaign to ban cluster munitions, representing then Landmine Action at many negotiation meeting.
Anna Macdonald was appointed to the Landmine Action Board in May 2007.
Kate Moore
Kate Moore works for Soroptimist International, an organization with General Consultative Status at E.C.O.S.O.C with active representation in the UN in New York, Geneva, Paris and Rome. Currently representing UK Soroptimists on Landmine Action, Adopt-A-Minefield and liaison for Handicap International she is Ambassador for ‘Project Independence - Women Survivors of War in the UK’. Prior to this Kate raised awareness and over £1.2 million in funds for their "Limbs for Life" project which helped to fund the I.C.R.C landmine activities in Georgia, Afghanistan and Angola. Kate has 15 years experience in the Personnel, Safety and Welfare Industry and has run her own Outplacement Consultancy business for an equal number of years. In the late 70’s she took an interest in the Shropshire Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities 9C.E.D.P, became their Publicity Chairman, then their Chairman (Cabinet Office Appointment) and was awarded the MBE for Services to the Disabled in the 1993 New Years Honours List.

Quincy Whitaker
Quincy Whitaker is a barrister who practises from Doughty Street Chambers and specialises in domestic and international criminal justice related human rights law. She has lectured and taught human rights law to judges, legal practitioners and students in the UK, Europe, and Africa and is co-author of ‘Criminal Justice, Police Powers and the Human Rights Act’ (Blackstone Press). She has a particular interest in constitutional challenges to the death penalty in the Caribbean and other commonwealth jurisdictions and is actively involved in litigation, supporting local lawyers acting for clients on death row, and associated educational projects. She lives in east Sussex with her partner and young son where she spends her free time walking on the Downs, swimming in the river, reading, listening to music and tending to their allotment.
